What you’ll need to apply
- Your driver licence
- Your car’s registration (plate) number
- The other driver’s name and plate number
- Their insurance company, if you know it
- Photos of the damage, if you have them
Back on the road in three steps
Step 1: Apply
Apply online in about five minutes, or give us a call. Tell us about you, your car and the other driver.
Step 2: Get approved
We confirm with the other driver and their insurer that the accident wasn’t your fault.
Step 3: Drive
We deliver your replacement car, or you pick it up. At the end of your hire, you hand it back and we recover the costs.

Common questions
Who pays for the replacement car?
The at-fault driver’s insurer. Once liability is accepted, we claim the hire cost from them directly. You don’t pay for the hire, as long as you use the car in line with the hire agreement.
Do I have to pay an excess?
No. There’s no excess to pay on your replacement car.
Are you connected to an insurance company?
No. Go Again Rentals is an independent, locally owned Canterbury business. We work for you — the driver who wasn’t at fault — not for an insurer.
